CAPTAIN

We are saddened by the sudden loss of our Certified Therapy Dog Captain, just 12 days short of his 6th birthday. an aggressive form of cancer took him from us in less than 3 months time. My heartfelt thanks go to Dr. Friederich, who exhausted all efforts to help him, in the end a humane euthanasia was necessary to stop all discomfort.

Captain was a blessing, when Schatzi died he put his best paw forward and lightened the life's of many, many folks. Not only was he a certified therapy dog, he was a certified test dog and handled that job so professionally, and ensured the safety of  many new therapy dog/hanlder teams. We will focus on positive memories, and remember the good times. Captain truly was
